Todo Boom is a fully local Chrome extension. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any user data. All information you create in the extension stays on your device.
All data — including tasks, speed dial shortcuts, sticky notes, cheat sheets, settings, and widget layouts — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). Nothing is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The extension injects a content script into Gmail (mail.google.com) solely to provide an "Add Task" button. When you click this button, the extension reads the email subject, sender name, and thread URL from the page you are currently viewing. This data is saved locally on your device and is never transmitted externally.
The only external network request the extension makes is to Google's public favicon service (google.com/s2/favicons) to display website icons in the speed dial. No user data is included in these requests.

This extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services.
You can export all your data to a local JSON file at any time via the Settings tab. You can also import data from a backup file. These operations happen entirely on your device.
If we update this policy, the changes will be posted here with a revised date. Since the extension is fully local, we do not anticipate changes to our data practices.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue on our GitHub repository or contact us through the Chrome Web Store listing.
